Cherry Hills Village - Donelson Architecture:

Over the years, this 1965 ranch had seen few updates as this home had many of the original finishes - still intact. The owners purchased this home with the intention of tearing down walls, vaulting ceilings and creating a modern mountain home that is located in the heart of the suburbs.

After being dark and cave-like for so many years, light now floods into the covered patio,
kitchen and family room, welcoming the family of four and their guests. 

The once awkwardly large, separated rooms are now an open and functional plan with a combination of modern and rustic details. Working together, the architect and designer took the bones of the house and successfully created a home that will be enjoyed for many years.
